The Night Before It is very important to try to get plenty of rest the night before you have to give your speech. This is often difficult for the first-timer because nerves do not allow for easy sleep. Many people find it hard to think of anything except the next day’s task, but do your best to relax as much as possible. Some people find it helpful to wear themselves out the day before by taking a long walk or some other physically demanding task. Sometimes it is much easier to sleep after doing something active during the day. |
